  • Jay Istvan Chief Executive Officer

    Jay Istvan joined Suture Express in 2014. He brings 23 years of healthcare consulting experience and eight years of executive operating experience with The Boston Consulting Group, Bain and eLoyalty. He began his career as a Project Engineer at Abbott Laboratories in the Diagnostic division. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University, he completed his Master of Business Administration at Harvard Business School.

  • Jason Pedaci Chief Commercial Officer

    Jason Pedaci joined Suture Express in November 2011. As Chief Commercial Officer, he focuses on expanding our sales to meet the growing needs of today’s healthcare providers. Jason has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including previous roles in operations, finance, sales and account management at Cardinal Health. He earned his Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University and his Bachelor of Science in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

  • Patrick Davis Chief Operations and Financial Officer

    Pat Davis joined the Suture Express team in 2011. He has more than 25 years of experience in a wide range of business functions, including senior management positions in finance, marketing, operations, product development and corporate strategy. Pat graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Bradley University.

  • Mark Kenyon Vice President, Product Development

    Mark joined Suture Express in March 2014, as Vice President of Product Development. Mark’s initial focus is to build an implant distribution business, diversifying the company’s product and service offerings. Prior to Suture Express, Mark held officer level positions across a diverse set of companies and functions, primarily in the telecommunications field.

    Mark began work for Procter & Gamble after completing a graduate business degree, but spent the bulk of his professional career with Sprint Corporation. Mark attended the University of Kansas where he graduated with a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance.

  • Steve Boyer Vice President, Distribution

    Steve Boyer joined the Suture Express team in 2008 as the Vice President of Distribution Operations. He has three decades of experience in the distribution and logistics industry, including previous positions at Fleming Food Company, Wal-Mart Stores and Owens and Minor, Inc. Steve earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Washburn University.

  • David Compton Chief Information Officer

    David Compton joined the Suture Express team in August of 2015 as Chief Information Officer. He has held similar positions at Cerner and Lantern Software. David graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
